Rondai Evans M.D.
I believe everyone wants to see better and find more enjoyment in their vision.
(But sometimes life gets in the way of finding it)
I have been talking to people about their eyes and vision for over 20 years. I teach people about their vision regardless of their background, age, or education level in a way that is easy to understand.
I have learned over the years that taking care of the health of the eyes is just a part of the full enjoyment of seeing. I believe there is so much more potential for people to discover in their ability to see.
As an eye surgeon, I have trained to treat illness and prevent disease.
As an artist, I have learned to appreciate the beauty of the world.
I believe that people understand their own bodies.
Together, we can find ways for each of us to see better.
I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pa., studied Architecture at Yale University, received my M.D. at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, and trained at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.
I worked at several hospitals in New York City before starting a private practice in the underserved neighborhood of Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.
I currently practice in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn and Rego Park, Queens in NYC.
